About the Staff

Rebecca
Treatment Coordinator

Originally from Fredericksburg, Virginia, Rebecca studied at Penn State and James Madison universities. She moved to Mobile in 2005 where she worked as an orthodontic lab technician. She then worked as an oral surgery assistant until Dr. Pickett invited her to act as the Treatment Coordinator in 2008. This gave her the opportunity to interact with patients and introduce them to our office family. Rebecca's love for architecture and interior design helped design our Wall Street office. She and Dr. Pickett share three children, Alexa, Clark, and Noah.

Jamie
Financial Coordinator

Jamie entered the dental field in 2003 as a receptionist for a local dental office. She joined our practice in the summer of 2008. Jamie enjoys working with patients and their families to facilitate the orthodontic financial process. When not at the office, she utilizes her cosmetology license as a hair stylist. She enjoys spending time with her fiance, Shaun, and his handsome son. An enthusiastic "couponer", Jamie saves for family trips to the beach and other outdoor activities like boating, fishing, and concerts.

Toni
Certified Orthodontic Assistant
Lab Technician

A native of Mobile, Toni graduated from Murphy High School and entered the orthodontic field in January of 1997 through the school's co-op program. Her experience at Hillcrest Orthodontics led her to become 1 of only 4 Certified Orthodontic Assistants in the state of Alabama. She helped Dr. Pickett open his solo practice in the summer of 2008 and plays a lead role for the assisting team. On her free time Toni enjoys spending time with her husband, Donnie and their two children, Dylan and Ashton.

Linda
Orthodontic Assistant

Linda brings over 30 years of combined dental and orthodontic experience to our practice. She loves her career because it allows her to take part in transforming teeth into beautiful smiles for the young and old, alike. Originally from Louisiana, she is an avid Tigers fan, and enjoys golfing, fishing, and hunting with her husband, Donald. When she has the chance, she travels to her home-state to visit her children, Tammy and Eric, and grandson, Logan.

Mallory
Orthodontic Assistant

The newest member of our team, Mallory joined the practice in June of 2011 after completing internships for Dr. Christopher Mullenix and Dr. Jeffrey Stoudenmire for a degree in Dental Assisting through Fortis. She is the only team member to be able to share her unique experience as an orthodontic and jaw surgery patient. Mallory travels close to her hometown of Grove Hill, Alabama to treat many of her friends and family when we are in our Jackson office. Recently married, she and her husband Colby are enjoying their first home together!
